At Barossa and Light Optometrist, we cater to each individual with tailored solutions developed through years of experience, to provide you with the best eye care.
Michael Burnside has been in practice for over 40 years in both regional settings such as the Eyre
Peninsula, Barossa and Kapunda and also has had experience in several Adelaide based practices.
He specialises in contact lenses, behaviour optometry, children’s vision and is qualified to treat eye disease. Michael is a past president of the Optometry Association and has spent time on the National Board of Registration. He believes that independent practice is the best way to deliver high quality and compassionate eye care.

Bonnie Eather grew up in Tanunda in the Barossa, trained and has worked in Adelaide , and is now resident at Freeling.

With over 10 years’ experience as an optometrist, she brings a broad range of knowledge to her work, including experience as an academic at Flinders University teaching student optometrists and as an Associate Director on the Optometry VicSA Board.
